GRA-5
Group A 5-speedDescription
The GRA-5 was the first complete transmission that Holinger manufactured. It stood for "Group A 5-speed" and was designed to replace the Getrag gearboxes being used at the time in the Australian Touring Car Championship. The GRA-5 was able to withstand far more power and torque than the Getrags, and was used in GM V8-powered Commodores, turbo-charged R31 Nissan Skylines, Ford Sierra's and BMW M3's.
Now eligible for historic racing in many of the aforementioned cars, Holinger has begun manufacturing small batches of the GRA-5 once again, along with all the associated spare parts.
